The Health & Vitality Honours aims to promote a change in the culture of consumption, the manufacture of healthier products, the implementation of healthier programmes in cost and profit sectors, and raise awareness of the industrys endeavours and achievements amongst consumers.
I firmly believe that the foodservice industry has an enormous responsibility for its constituents health, in both the cost and profit sectors; whether its restaurant dining on the high street or contract catering within the workplace. Foodservice is a sector that has the power to influence a healthy culture and drive the well-being agenda, and Im delighted that the Health & Vitality Honours Roll of Honour contains catering organisations and major suppliers, as well as wholesalers which service the industry.
Matt Dawson MBE, Sodexo Health Ambassador and Health & Vitality Honours judge.
