NINE COMPANIES HAVE formally signed up the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) waste scheme – SUSTAIN.
The new members of the packaging compliance scheme include Britain’s largest brewer Molson Coors.
The question of sustainability in the pub sector has been under the spotlight for some time, with sustainability champion Footprint working with pubco Spirit Group and Enterprise Inns to drive awareness of the issues through a series of events, where industry professionals can discuss the challenges and solutions.

Footprint also works closely with government departments to ensure that the needs of the industry are met through policy changes, helping operators to achieve environmental and nutrition targets.
