CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY champion Footprint has expanded its reach to the City, with the launch of Finance Footprint.
In response to calls from the financial services for support in driving sustainability, Finance Footprint is a brand new platform for senior professionals seeking news, analysis, thought-leadership and debate on the issues.
Those seeking solutions to the challenges can become further involved by joining Finance Footprint, and help shape the agenda and lead the conversation through unique, high impact forums – the first of which will be held on 5th February 2015.
Speaking about the launch, Footprint CEO Nick Fenwicke-Clennell commented: “In a rapidly changing world, where resources are scarcer than ever, we all share the responsibility of implementing positive changes.
Persuading global corporations to remodel their business practices is a major challenge in itself; to those still failing to see the benefits of sustainability we say – what business will you run when environmental disaster strikes? What will you sell when our natural resources are used up?
The question of sustainable business is one that seeks to address the issues of global green problems at the same time as ensuring it can be profitable as well.”
The inaugural Finance Footprint Forum will take place on February 5th 15.00 – 17.30 at 20 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, in association with Morgan Stanley focusing on Sustainable Corporate Services in the Financial Sector.
