Environmental issues in foodservice were top of the agenda at the Sustainability Matters seminar hosted by Creed Foodservice.
Our seminar was chaired by Christophe Stourton, Communications Director for national environmental forum Foodservice Footprint and held at Gloucester Rugby Club.
A top-notch panel of speakers shared thoughts on topics such as responsible food sourcing, energy supply, recycling, ethical business and energy efficiency.
Many issues were outlined including the key considerations the sector faces, from reducing waste and water consumption to utilising new technology.
The panel sparked an interesting and lively debate. The speakers included Simon Taylor from MyPower, Rosie Blackburn from Compassion in World Farming, Penny Manuel from SOHO Coffee Co, Neil Holland from Mil-tek Direct and Phil Creed From Creed Foodservice.
