Celebrating Sustainability in Foodservice

More than ever, organisations in the hospitality and foodservice sector need to shout out about their corporate sustainability initiatives and the annual Footprint Awards, with 2025 its 15th year as the premier industry sustainability awards, is the established platform for recognition.

Why Enter the Footprint Awards?

Footprint Awards deals in facts. It drills down into the specifics of what has been achieved, not just aspired to, with the data to back it up. And in a world where the Competition & Markets Authority now has the powers not only to hunt down, but to catastrophically fine perceived greenwash offenders, an awards scheme like Footprint Awards that deals in facts, not fiction, is a place where genuine reputations can be built.

Show how you manage your energy, waste or packaging; your sourcing, use of resources or logistics. Perhaps you have community impact initiatives or have promoted the social agenda in your organisation? Are you a sustainable producer or manufacturer who sees the out of home sector as a key market?

The ESG agenda is just so important in general and this is true for this sector in particular. The consumer is increasingly knowledgeable when it comes to sustainable business practice and Footprint Awards gives organisations the opportunity to show to their customers and the public at large, the steps they have taken to make their own contribution to the sustainability of both industry and planet.

These awards are open to businesses of all sizes and a glance at former winners will give you an idea of the inclusive and diverse nature of the organisations participating. Entries are judged by a panel of specialists in ESG and foodservice so if you are an organisation that is proud of an initiative or achievement in this field we would urge you to enter.
