We are delighted to announce that the 2020 Footprint Drinks Sustainability Awards that was due to be held in September last year will now be held on Thursday 25th March as a virtual event, to be streamed into your home or office at 5.30 in the evening.
Since it became apparent that a dinner in September would not be possible we had hoped that a new date could be arranged. However, with the ever-changing goalposts in the ongoing Covid-19 battle and with the 2021 cycle of the Footprint Drinks Sustainability Awards looming on the horizon, we feel we now have no other option but to host the event virtually.
We are extremely excited about this because we will be pushing the boundaries on the production values of such an event, which will open it up to a far greater audience than we could physically expect to get into a room. Indeed, as around 40% of the online Footprint audience now resides outside the United Kingdom, we will be welcoming a multi-national audience to recognise those organisations in the drinks industry who have demonstrated sustainability excellence in the various categories.
